Do you have the mail function of ASIP running?
Do you have a filter set in Retrospect to not backup the mail folder?
I can guaranty that if you are trying to backup that folder, that's
where it is locking up. Mine did the same thing.
Fortunately, I have a very low volume mail server so losing the mail
file would not be a big deal. I simply just don't back it up. The
way DAntz prescribes you do back it up is to use the Applescript to
turn off the mail portion, copy files, and then turn mail back on.
This is all done in the script.
