KUDU-3809 enable table location caching by default 64MiB seems to be enough for a few hundred tables with about 10 partitions each in a 10-node Kudu cluster. Synthetic benchmark TableLocationsTest.GetTableLocationsBenchmark in table_locations-itest shows ~1.17x boost in the system catalog's RPC throughput when cache enabled compared with non-caching case, and approximately twice less time is spent to process a call in average. This is a follow-up to [1].
