It's just a question of whether we want to introduce a new class and the
necessary Akka testKit infrastructure within the scope of any 0.9.x release.
Regardless, we're going to need all that within 1.0.x, so I'd say go ahead and
implement it targeting 1.0 and then we can see how intrusive it would be to
also bring it into 0.9.
