Returning `Try` still changes the public API. Also, the issue is that right
now we only catch particular exceptions `NoSuchField*`. Any other exception is
supposed to propagate upwards. I don't think there is a clean way to do it with
'Try', which isn't really designed for catching specific exceptions anyway.
