CC @mateiz @rxin a lot of these changes have to do with incorrect string ->
byte conversions.
Plus the classpath computation fix.
Please note that this is not sufficient to get spark building on windows -
due to more hive related failures. Unfortunately, I gave up trying to patch
hive related issues.
