As a release manager, I need to check this PR's status. It's because this will make RC2 fail again if this lands on `master` in this week. There is one of Apache Spark release policy which overrides Apache project policy. - In general, -1 cannot block Apache project release if we have at least 3 +1 and the majority win. - However, Apache Spark blocks the release if there is -1 for a correctness or data-loss issue. (The decision was made a long time ago by vote. cc @cloud-fan , @gatorsmile , @srowen ) Before RC1, I checked all correctness/dataloss issue. Technically, there are 16 open **correctness** or **data-loss** issues in the community still (as of now). Some of them are targeted to 3.0.0, and the others are not. I don't think we can release 3.0.0 with zero open correctness issue. In any way, there was no correct/data-loss issue targeting 2.4.5. So, I started RC1, but it fails as we see. Like @cloud-fan and @gatorsmile voted at RC1, we stop the vote if it's asked explicitly for correctness/data-loss issue.
