The html invokes `renderPlanViz`, which renders the query plan: it amends the doc tree. When you save the page to disk, it contains the rendered query plan. When you open that html file it will invoke `renderPlanViz` again, which appends the rendered query plan to the doc tree again, hence the duplication.
