Original when comparing String and decimal, both left and right ops would be converted to double type, and it may be fatal when the comparator is used for join conditions. In fact, the user should not allow string type compare with numeric type. Now that postgre has similar behavior compare String with Long, we can follow it. It's more reasonable to classify this problem into several case than just convert both them to double type.
