jiangxb1987 commented on issue #27727: SPARK-30975: rename config spark memoryOverhead URL: https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/27727#issuecomment-592739851 I don't think this a necessary change, the config `spark.yarn.driver.memoryOverhead` is still being used in a few production workloads (as I grep the config name in Spark JIRA issues), also the maintaining burden of this alternative config is very close to zero.
