This should work as long as you remove both override and val, in which case
the parameters are used only as constructor parameters, and not as member
variables (see, for example, ResultTask:
https://github.com/apache/spark/blob/master/core/src/main/scala/org/apache/spark/scheduler/ResultTask.scala#L43
where stageId is the same as the name of the member variable in the super
class Task.scala)
