@xuanyuanking , can you please explain how this will fix the issue where we have changed something in the internal implementation of sum in SPARK-28067, how does that affect previous states and what would be the expected behavior. From a query level, the sum schema is same. Is the checkpoint storing information that is coming from intermediate states.
