Review comment:
       This solution is fine but I think what we really care for is the number 
of shuffle files on `hostA-exec` and not their order. So what I would do here 
is:
   
   ```suggestion
       val isLocatedOnHostA = 
         (status: MapStatus) => status != null && status.location.executorId == 
"hostA-exec"
       assert(initialMapStatuses.count(isLocatedOnHostA) === 2)
   ```
   
   And down below this filter can be reused like:
   
   ```scala
   assert(mapStatuses.exists(isLocatedOnHostA) === false)
   ```
