+1 for using another separate JIRA for that. I don't have a strong opinion here. This is technically a correct change since the current master has one default Hive, and I don't see a plan about using other Hive at this moment. But I would also keep the profile for the time being just in case. Removing Hive 1.2 is pretty a big change and I think we don't know yet how much impact it has. Other changes made so far were pretty clear because it was specific to Hive workaround codes.
