It seems the only issue left is the v2 support for the table creation. Follow the suggestion, I added comment/TODO in 49a8c87 and create SPARK-33638 for tracking the full v2 table support. I'm adding more content for the ticket(@HeartSaVioR please help review the Jira description and comment to make sure it's clear enough). Maybe we can also move the v2 related discussion there.
