I agree, eventually it should get scheduled (any subtle dynamic resource allocation interactions though ?). Having said that, a proper reset of the locality level should ensure it could get scheduled earlier. Are there any challenges/issues with doing the locality reset ? If it is nontrivially difficult to do, as Tom suggested, we can log (and add a TODO in code) and proceed in interest of unblocking this - and circle back to this later : this PR is better than what we have today anyway. ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
