Thanks for filing this @shardulm94 ! One high-level question: Is the correct behavior to filter/ignore these non-JAR dependencies, or still add them to the classpath, but with the proper extensions? Filtering is definitely better than what we have today, but are there situations where we will still want these non-JAR dependencies on the classpath?
