I think it should actually be 2 spaces based on this [Databricks Scala
Guide](https://github.com/databricks/scala-style-guide) example:
```
def newAPIHadoopFile[K, V, F <: NewInputFormat[K, V]](

vClass: Class[V],
conf: Configuration = hadoopConfiguration)

```
But I agree this format is a little confusing. I'll reformat.
