@zhuqi-lucas Spark has the exclusion (a.k.a blacklisting) feature (see `spark.excludeOnFailure.enabled`) and Spark on YARN also has its own exclusion feature (see `spark.yarn.executor.launch.excludeOnFailure.enabled`) to ban such problematic nodes.
