Any more thoughts on this? We've been using this in production for a while now and it definitely helps reduce our runtime significantly. I tried to simplify things by combining the children to recurse and common children to recurse (and new conditional children) into a single call to make it more clear what's going on -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
