In terms of moving forward, I imagine that this would pass if the logic
change (SPARK-7527) were reverted. We can resolve just the change for
SPARK-7233 if you like. The rest of the problem is an interesting one here and
would be great if you have time to investigate it; that can happen separately
if you like.
