@zsxwing Unfortunately, scala compiler doesn't do it. Even scala library
does so to avoid another JVM call.
```
def segmentLength(p: A => Boolean, from: Int): Int = {
val len = length
var i = from
while (i < len && p(this(i))) i += 1
i - from
