Hi @WangTaoTheTonic, yes, that's a lot more in line with what I was
thinking. It does allow users to shoot themselves in the foot (e.g., if I set a
range "1000-2000" for the UI port and a range "3000-3001" for some other port,
then the wider range for the UI port is mostly useless), which I guess is one
argument for keeping the current behavior, but I think in the end either is
fine.
You do need to fix tests, though, since there's a lot of compilation
failures in test code. Running them locally is a good way to catch those. :-)
