@sunchao @cloud-fan Would you be able to take another look? I have kept the original "patch". It is essentially a band aid until the Parquet ticket is fixed. I cannot think of a better and less intrusive way to fix the problem. Let me know if you have any questions about it, I will be happy to clarify.
