(Update: I checked `~/.m2/repository` on the jenkins machine and it doesn't
contain any 1.4.0-SNAPSHOT artifacts, so that kinda puts a damper on my theory.
I'm still trying to figure out why the compilation succeeds while the tests
fail - that still doesn't make sense to me. It's probably some obscure maven
thing that I'm not familiar with.)
