Review Comment:
   > Do we really care about the removing result?
   
   If we don't have any logs on the client side, then identifying whether the 
merged shuffle data is getting cleaned up when the shuffle is deleted is 
difficult. We will not even know if something is wrong unless we go look at an 
ESS log.
   
   And why don't we make it consistent with `removeBlocks`?
