It is fairly unclear to me what the goal of the PR is, what usecases are being targetted. If nodes are being decommissioned due to external cluster manager events indicating imminent loss of executors, slowing it down is not going to help - the more we wait, the higher chance of complete loss of data hosted on that node. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
