For the record, Apache Spark community is actively testing Apache Hadoop 3.4, but it's too early to say that it can survive until Apache Spark 4.0.0 release. It's only our aspiration to have Apache Hadoop 3.4 in Apache Spark 4.0.0. Please see our downgrade history.
