@tgravescs I'd really like to keep this going ... I was hoping to get
feedback from more reviewers on the design. Also the testing strategy -- I
dunno if anybody else can think of a better way to test behavior over 2GB
without making such big tests?
I had gotten lazy about updating from marcelo's latest round of comments,
