Did some sanity checks here. On thing that's kind of weird is
`parquet-column` downgrades `commons-codec` from 1.7 to 1.5:

It also looks like it adds jackson as a recursive dep whereas previously
there was this thing called parquet-jackson that didn't acutally seem to depend
on jackson (?). I can check this out more later.
