I'd like to celebrate the big opening of our github issues tab with a todo
list for github issues!
- [ ] Issue Template
- Option of `Bug`, `New Feature` and `Improvement`
- description
- spark version
- [ ] Labels (we should use color to categorize them. For example, all spark
versions should have the same color and all component labels should have the
same color)
- For the options above (so it's easier to filter)
- For spark versions (3.5, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 for now?)
- For important components
I believe for the issue template we actually need to do some markdown
similar to pull requests now. It doesn't have to be perfect in the very
beginning - this is an experimental phase so we can improve it later.
For labels, we need people who have the access to add them. We probably also
want to clean up the existing labels if there are duplicates or legacy ones.
Anyway, very excited that we opened github issues. I hope this will bring us
closer to the community!
