- The reason (why I mentioned that in this thread) is that you asked to
backport another one explicitly in this thread.
For the following question, there was dev@spark email discussion about that
historically. AFAIK, this is a kind of consensus to show a respect for the
release manager volunteers. We want to help the release managers by reducing
their work and avoiding any breaking CI changes during the voting period.
