One concern with replacing by default: Suppose `Affects Version/s` is currently `5.0.0`, and a backport fixes the same bug in `4.4.1`. The committer may enter `4.4.0` intending to add the missing affected release, but the script would replace the field and remove the still-valid `5.0.0`.
