Thanks for the review, @uros-b! Resolved the conflict in `8fa93e7cd78` by merging upstream and retaining both migration-guide entries. The conflict was documentation-only; the fix and regression coverage are unchanged, and GitHub now reports this PR as mergeable. All 32 optimizer tests and 17 selected SQL map tests pass locally, along with ScalaStyle/ScalaFmt. The previous full CI passed; [fresh full CI](https://github.com/charliec05/spark/actions/runs/36910119766) is running on the updated head. I've updated the PR description with both results.
