Thank you for working on this fix and adding the regression coverage. The clean-EOF reattachment fix has since landed on master in commit [45bfe1a](https://github.com/apache/spark-connect-rust/commit/45bfe1a3bc3813f3da2b936bbb30aff0548eb6f5) (SPARK-60739, #141), so the production change proposed here is now superseded. I'm closing this PR since the fix is already on master. Some of the additional edge-case tests here, including repeated EOFs, an empty initial stream, and reattach retry exhaustion, could still be useful additions to the follow-up coverage in #172.
