@ScrapCodes that works as intended and doesn't leave the "-e" files around
anymore, except that the update for `scala.binary.verison` does not work. This
seemed to work:
```
sed -e 's/<scala\.binary\.version>2\.10</<scala.binary.version>2.11</'
"$BASEDIR/pom.xml" >"$BASEDIR/pom.xml.tmp"
```
But I don't know if that's standard `sed` syntax now! seems simple though?
