Hey @jacek-lewandowski,
The change proposed here sounds reasonable, since spurious warnings/errors
during shutdown are really confusing to users. I'd be on-board with merging an
updated version of this patch, so do you mind closing this PR and opening a
revised version against the master branch which incorporates Marcelo and Hari's
feedback?
