Agree that a separate module is a logically nice fix, but probably does
have the circular dependency problem and introduce a whole new module for a few
lines of code.
I also saw @pwendell 's message about `release-profile` having
side-effects. Darn. I had hoped side effects of setting up like Maven does for
release are helpful, like building javadoc, but I guess the javadoc doesn't
build on its own. LGTM
