    I will include that change as well.
    
    Separate question, is there a better way to signal that there are no legal 
input types? If I leave it how it is, the error message is not particularly 
useful since it doesn't inform the user of the true error (that you can't use 
NullType as an argument). Would this be enough to write a custom 
`checkInputTypes` function (but still add the length check to fix that)?
