@brkyvz @sun-rui @cafreeman My take is that we should add whatever support
we need from the Spark framework in this JIRA and we can then improve it as we
go along. I think the important thing here is to have (a) an example which
shows how to write a simple R package that only uses R code (b) a more complex
example package that uses both R and Scala (I think @cafreeman already has this
at https://github.com/cafreeman/sparkGLM ?).
Looks like the PR doesn't merge right now -- @brkyvz can you bring this up
to date with master ?
