OK, if this doesn't change functionality then I think it's a strict
improvement. Admittedly there are currently no tests for the formation of the
dotstring, and I should have done that when I wrote this code in the first
place. @rekhajoshm would you mind adding a test for the `RDDOperationGraph` to
assert that the string generated is as we expect? If you prefer not to that's
also fine, but we'll have to manually test this before we merge it.
