Oops, I forgot to ack that. Yes, I have merged this in master and branch
1.5, which automatically closed the PR. Thank you very much @dragos

Another point, I have also merged an additional PR that links backpressure
stuff with all the receivers that do not use the default block generator, and
rather manage their own blockgenerators (Reliable Kafka receiver, and my
updated Kinesis Receiver). See #7913.
