[SPARK-10003] Improve readability of DAGScheduler
Note: this is not intended to be in Spark 1.5!
This patch rewrites some code in the `DAGScheduler` to make it more
readable. In particular
- there were blocks of code that unnecessarily complicated the code
- there were abstractions that unnecessarily made the code hard to navigate
- other minor changes
You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:
$ git pull https://github.com/andrewor14/spark dag-scheduler-readability
Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:
