@sryza the commit you referenced was before we squash all commits. The
real merge is
https://github.com/apache/spark/commit/4a25b116d4e451afdf10fc4f018c383ed2c7789a
Unfortunately we lose all the pull request comments due to the annoying asf
incubation repo move.
I think this is probably safe to remove.
