Sigmod Demo, but we just start writing it this week. I guess it will be
rejected, but the topic is very interesting, I think. It is also a Spark
related project.
RDBMS transaction log captures the change history of the RDBMS
transactional data. If available on big data platforms, the decoded transaction
log opens up various new business opportunities. Highly scalable data
replication from RDBMS transaction log to the big data platforms remains a
challenge, and further research is required to enable efficient time travel and
data retrieval for further analysis and analytics exploration.
