To me this sounds rather a misconfiguration of your environment.. or at
least, a very peculiar setup. I'm worried about adding more complexity for a
scenario that is very rare and nobody else would benefit.
I may be wrong, but what prevents your Mesos cluster from running with the
"correct" user? Surely, running as "root" is discouraged in most cases?
