I think this is a good idea, though I suspect there are lots more places
where the new files API can be used, either instead of custom code or instead
of Guava. It'd be good to do a pass over the code base with some reasonable
searches to pick them up. For example, I see lots of uses of `Files.append` and
`Files.write` that have a counterpart in Java 7.
