Glad to see that this change is relatively small and straightforward. Quick
question: is this case covered by any existing test? Do you mind adding an
integration test which explicitly exercises this code path (e.g. by configuring
the parallel listing threshold to be really low)? Just want to make sure that
this path gets hit at least one in our test suite.
