[SPARK-12555][SQL] Add provided test scenario
## What changes were proposed in this pull request?
This PR add test case described in this issue to avoid future regressions.
This test actually pass in trunk code, but is failing in 1.6.0/1.6.1. Will
update the issue and check if there is a need to backport the fix to 1.x
release.
## How was this patch tested?
Unit tests
