Just came to a simpler and less error prone solution after opening this PR:
we may reserve an expression ID range, say 0 ~ 1024, for predefined global
attribute references like `SizeBasedWindowFunction.n`, and then create these
attribute references with fixed expression IDs.
Will try the above approach tomorrow.
