@mengxr For now, we're trying to support Python 2.6+, although the test
suite is currently broken in 2.6 due to our use of some unittest features added
in Python 2.7. Before / during the release's QA, I plan to test everything
under 2.6 and try to get this to be automated in the future.
@dorx Maybe add a comment in `linalg.py` explaining why we pop() the path?
